Terms & Conditions

By downloading, installing, or using the EatMeals application or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and place orders on EatMeals. By using our Platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
• EatMeals reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

• All prices displayed on the Platform are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
• Payment is processed securely through third-party payment gateways (Razorpay). EatMeals does not store full card details.
• Once an order is placed and accepted by a vendor, it may not be cancelled without the vendor's consent. Cancellation policies may vary by vendor.
• In the event of a failed delivery due to circumstances beyond our control (wrong address, unreachable customer), the order may be considered fulfilled without a refund.

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Valid reasons include wrong items delivered, food quality issues, or missed deliveries attributable to EatMeals. Approved refunds are credited to your EatMeals wallet or original payment method within 5–7 business days. Decisions by our support team are final.

EatMeals acts as an intermediary platform connecting customers with independent home cooks and cloud kitchens ("Vendors"). While we conduct KYC verification and quality checks, EatMeals is not responsible for the content, quality, safety, or legality of food items listed by Vendors. Customers are advised to check allergen information and contact Vendors for specific dietary requirements.

• Meal plan subscriptions are prepaid and non-refundable once activated, unless EatMeals is unable to fulfil the plan due to platform issues.
• EatMeals Wallet credits are non-transferable and can only be used within the Platform. Wallet balances do not earn interest and expire 12 months after last activity.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent orders or reviews.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with Platform infrastructure.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten vendors, captains, or other users.
• Misuse promotional codes or referral incentives.

All content on the Platform, including the EatMeals brand, logo, design, text, and software, is the exclusive property of EatMeals and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EatMeals shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 30 days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
